Vassilis Mike Delistathis born in Kiato Corinth in 1963 .The past 24 years dealing with sculpture and dominant element of his work is the metal . His works are in private collections in Greece and abroad ( Switzerland , Belgium , Holland and America) . Been involved in several art premises and sculptures have been featured in commercials , photo shoots and television shows .He was a quiet kid , but unusual for many. The art flowed from then on blood. His father was making sculptures from wood , while he was painting beside small artefacts.
At some point in the course of life seems to forget the experiences of his childhood and began studying electronic. The ” slip ” did not last for long. The occasion was an exhibition of Taki in New York. That’s it! It was like returning to his roots as his spirit be awakened and the soul of the artist revived . Since then begins a crazy path lying between irons and plates , among rocks and woods . In Holland , where he lived for nearly three years , he made his first steps as a sculptor . He worked in the shipyards . When the bell meant the end ins work and the workers were leaving , he stayed behind and picking that useless leftover . His works , although primitive at first, they found a place in many homes and shops abroad.
