The ancient Titani under the State of Sicyon , was so named by Titan brother Sun. Pausanias going there from Sikyon tells us that followed a straight path . The city was the Asklipion and was built by Alexanora , son of Machaon , grandson of Asclepius . Temple of Athena with two idols of Asclepius and Hygeia time Pausanias passed the shrine was damaged by lightning . There was also an altar of the Wind where annual ceremonies were exorcisms and Medea , to reassure winds . The ancient city has been excavated , visible is the ancient acropolis and the remains of buildings .
